Illinois State Treasurer’s website
The Gammon Group recently designed and launched an interactive website for Illinois State Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias. According to Giannoulias’ Communications Director Scott Burnham,

Dan Stefanich, Gammon Group President/CEO received the good news that the agency had been selected as the firm to redevelop the website as part of a competitive bid process. “We were given an eight-week turnaround—fairly tight given the site’s complexity. The Treasurer’s staff provided vital input and helped expedite approval steps, enabling us to produce a cutting-edge site that is already providing a wealth of valuable information to Illinois residents.”
The Treasurer’s office oversees a number of valuable consumer program with continuously updated information online: Cash Dash provides an online database of unclaimed funds and property in Illinois; Our Own Home works with lenders to help people with less-than-perfect credit secure sustainable mortgages; and Illinois farmers, small business owners and students can use the Treasurer’s site to research available loans. The Treasurer’s new, improved site puts helpful information at the consumer’s fingertips—precisely what a well-structured website should do.
Giannoulias is the youngest State Treasurer in recent Illinois history, and is making it a priority to improve communication between his office and Illinois taxpayers. A revitalized website is part of that strategy. The Illinois State Treasurer’s website can be accessed online at www.treasurer.il.gov.
