New Jersey Organ and Tissue Sharing Network Website Launched
The Gammon Group was contracted to re-design another high profile website this summer for NJ Organ and Tissue Sharing Network (NJ Sharing Network), the organ procurement organization (OPO) for the state of New Jersey . The website is a key communication component in their mission to promote organ and tissue donation. The site was completed and launched in August.
“They are a fantastic organization to work with,” explains Brent Moats, Gammon Group’s senior designer and webmaster. “Our experience with other OPOs positioned us perfectly to partner with them on this project. The state of the art website is packed with information that appeals to all of their communication segments — volunteers, employees, donors, recipients, hospital staff, medical professionals and the general public.
NJ Sharing Network, located in Springfield , New Jersey , is a state-approved non-profit organization responsible for the recovery of organs and tissue for the nearly 4,300 New Jersey residents currently awaiting transplantation. Since their inception in 1987, NJ Sharing Network has more than quadrupled the total number of organs recovered in New Jersey for transplantation.
“Our website is often the first point of contact about organ and tissue donation for the public and a great resource for our partnering communities,” says Mara Barlow, Director of Public Affairs for NJ Sharing Network. “The new design is not only visually pleasing, it allows us to keep all the communities we serve informed in an organized, easy to navigate manner. Gammon’s Group experience with the subject matter significantly helped in the development of the new site.”
